Coronavirus: We’ve adapted the way we work to respond to Coronavirus. We are welcoming new Residents and protecting those who already live with us. We are providing safe visits following guidelines. If you have any questions or concerns please get in touch.
At Isle View we pride ourselves on providing a home from home for our residents with a homely, warm and friendly atmosphere. This is our residents home. We are part of a local community and our Manager and staff care deeply for the residents, providing an exceptional quality of care, a high standard of living and showing all residents the respect they deserve.
In addition, we need to meet many other requirements and health and safety standards. We are inspected regularly. We have “Good”, “Very Good” and “Excellent” scores and are constantly endeavoring to improve our service.
Service Improvements
The current owners took over at the end of 2010 and our Registered Manager Cassie Hersee started with us in December 2016. Together we are working to develop our staff and provide care tailored to the ever changing needs of our residents. We aim to particularly develop our in-house trainers.
We live in an ageing population with an increased demand for skilled nursing care for a wide range of illnesses and for specialised dementia care. Isle View continues to develop in line with best practice and evidence based skilled dementia and nursing care.
The Care Inspectorate inspect every aspect of home life regularly. The latest report is available at Isle View Home for you to view and you can also read all our reports at the link below.

Safety
Regular health and safety checks are carried out throughout the premises. Risk assessments are carried out on a continuous basis. We have policies in place to ensure the safety and well being of all our residents and these are available for viewing at Isle View Nursing Home.
All bedrooms, bathrooms and lounges are fitted with nurse call systems. Fire regulations are strictly adhered to. There is a no smoking policy within the home, with designated areas outside for smokers.
We directly contract an external organisation to act for us in both Health and Safety and HR. They inspect us regularly and help us to meet changing requirements and create and meet action plans.
